Day in the Life – Bill Miller (WVYO Summer Concert 2019)

Commissioned by the West Valley Youth Orchestra (under the direction of Mrs. Claire Gordon), this piece is a musical take on what a student’s typical school day looks like…with a healthy helping of humor and high-jinks, to boot. Upon being approached for this commission, I’d asked my students what first came to mind when they hear the word “school”, and this is the end result.
