I’m Mad About Games- A Rant About Stupid Stuff People are Doing

Some VERY vocal opinions and feelings that I just sort of let out there. A lot of the stuff I vented about is purely driven by just… how the community feels. I don’t feel this way all the time, and there are always exceptions to the rule, honestly. I just haven’t been interested in hyper-realistic, press-a-button-to-continue-the-story games that have become super popular of late, and whenever I see games, I sometimes feel very… depressed about them. So many games following the same mechanics, the same tide, people just… making stuff they think will do really well or get them money or that data says to do.

It’s not something I have a solution for. The real reason is probably that I’m getting older- I’m an adult, and games just are not the same anymore. Things ARE different, and I can’t go back to what was my norm. For kids today, this is the norm, and that’s not necessarily a bad thing- except for the whole… gambling thing, lol. They’ll still be kids with treasured childhood games, and that’s fine.

Sometimes, though, it really isn’t fun to be on the Internet lol.
